Derrick Anthony Bleach and Legious R. Minder, both of Allentown, arrived at Giant Food Stores on Lititz Pike in Warwick Township in a dark-colored sedan around 11:50 p.m. on Nov. 27, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said.

The pair walked to the medications aisle, where Bleach took out a large gift bag that had been hidden in the back of his jacket.

Bleach was then seen on surveillance footage picking out various medicine boxes and sliding them on the floor to Minder, who puts them into the gift bag.

Both men were seen crouching and hiding while putting medications into the gift bag.

Bleach then distracts an employee by asking for assistance, allowing Minder to flee the store with about $2,500 in stolen medications, police said.

The pair repeated this method at numerous Giant stores in Lancaster County, starting in Elizabethtown and ending in the Strasburg area, police said.

Both have been charged with felony retail theft and felony conspiracy to commit retail theft.

Anyone with information about Bleach and Minder’s whereabouts is asked to contact the NLCRPD Criminal Investigations Division at 717-733-0965.
